Volunteer Veterans' Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs Voluntary Services (VAVS) program offers Post members an opportunity to provide service to its members by volunteering time and talent to our hospitalized--our forgotten veteran.

We are currently sponsoring the following programs:

Coffee and cookie program every morning Monday through Friday at Chillicothe VA Hospital
Dinner and bingo at the Post every 2nd and 4th Wednesday for VA and group homes
Post program to help stranded and homeless veterans on an as-needed basis
We furnish free bus service to and from downtown during Pumpkin Show

We always need more volunteers. Please help if you can.
